Michelle Kwan, the most decorated figure skater in U.S. history, is joining ABC's "Good Morning America" as a special correspondent covering the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Kwan, who participated in two Winter Olympics and won two medals there, will provide commentary and analysis on figure skating, as well as coverage of other news stories at the games.
This won't be Kwan's first time reporting on the sport she once dominated. In 2009, she was invited to be a television commentator during the men's short program competition at the World Figure Skating Championships in Los Angeles.

Kwan became suddenly famous in 1996 when she won her first World Championship at 16 years old. It was during this year where she debuted what has become her signature move, a change-of-edge spiral. Kwan's star rarerly dimmed after that. She went on to win four more World Championship titles in 1998, 2000, 2001, and 2003. The now, 29 year old Kwan, skated in her first Olympics in 1998. She made a return trip in 2002.
Kwan's first report for "Good Morning America" will air on Friday, February 12. That's opening day of the 2010 Olympic Winter games.
