Suspect of the Tseung Kwan O knife attack is charged with 3 counts of assault (Ch. 212 s.17) after wounding 3 with 1 in critical condition, mention hearing to be held at Kwun Tong Magistrates' Courts tomorrow
Many question why one bringing his own knife with clear intent to harm others is charged with s.17 (max. sentence of 3 years) instead of more fitting and serious charges like s.19 and s.14 (attaching s.17, s.19 and s.14 for reference)
