EXTREME cold below -30°C at Zugspitze, Germany. Today -30.5°C was measured which is the lowest temperature in past 117 years (!!!) and tomorrow could be even colder! Now that is extremely severe! Thanks to Daniel Zschocke for forwarding the report!
