You Guoping, a retired Chinese soldier has seemingly done the impossible – teach his cat to perform an array of sophisticated tricks. The adventurous feline called Gangbeng, which means ‘coin’ in Mandarin, recently went viral on social media, grabbing the attention of bewildered cat owners across China.

Guoping previously trained army dogs during his time in the military and wanted to know if he could teach his cat the same skills. Although Gangbeng can jump through hoops and navigate tunnels just like his K-9 counterparts, we don’t think we will be seeing military cats on the frontline anytime soon.
