The Fig Tree generation is the last generation and the time of Jesus coming as Jesus stated in Matt 24 and Mark 13.
In prophecy, Judah is the fig tree and Israel the Northern kingdom is the vine.
Jesus caused the Fig Tree to wither in Mat 21 and Mark 11 foreshadowing Judah’s destruction and the kingdom temporarily handed over to other nations.
Thus when the fig tree sprouts leaves and comes to bloom again, this is the sign of that generation that will not pass away until all the events and signs Jesus prophesied come to pass in the end-time.
End-time prophecy requires visible Judah to be in the land of the Covenant, in Jerusalem when the abomination happens, and when God stands up to fight for them. This is the time of the fleeing from Jerusalem of Judah and second exodus of Judah and lost Israel.
This is a quick summary. But I think the Fig Tree generation began with the taking of Jerusalem in 1967. Jerusalem with Judah dwelling in Jerusalem is the centre piece of all end-time prophecy.
無花果樹的樹枝每年都發嫩長葉,為什麼這樣説呢,豈不是耶穌每年都回來?因為這無花果樹是代表猶大地。

- 這樣，你們幾時看見這些事成就，也該知道人子（人子：或作神的國）近了，正在門口了。
- 我實在告訴你們，這世代還沒有過去，這些事都要成就。
- 天地要廢去，我的話卻不能廢去。
