Kamala Harris reveals herself as an anti-Christian BIGOT who hates God and anyone who recognizes the existence of God
She’s one of many who is expected to join a crowded field of Democratic presidential candidates, but in terms of distinguishing herself from the others, Sen. Kamala Harris of California hasn’t done much yet.
Except to prove that she’s an anti-Christian bigot, though before all is said and done, she won’t be the only one because the party of the donkey has a long history now of hating on Christians.
During a recent confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, of which Harris is a member, attorney Brian Buescher of Nebraska, whom POTUS Donald Trump nominated to the federal bench in his state, faced a litany of questions tainted with Catholic bias from Harris and another Christian bigot, Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii).
As reported by the Washington Times, Harris and Hirono repeatedly questioned Buescher’s membership in a Catholic male organization, the Knights of Columbus, a 137-year-old fraternal organization that serves as a charity as well, leading to allegations of “religious profiling.”
“The Knights of Columbus has taken a number of extreme positions,” Hirono said during Buescher’s hearing last month, noting that the organization — like all Catholics — is opposed to same-sex marriage. “If confirmed, do you intend to end your membership with this organization to avoid any bias?”
Mind you, Catholics believe that support for same-sex marriage is ‘extreme,’ so that label is subject to interpretation by the accuser.
Meanwhile, Harris asked Buescher — who became a KofC member 25 years ago as a teenager, “Were you aware that the Knights of Columbus opposed a woman’s right to choose when you joined the organization?” referring to abortion and using the Democrat talking point “woman’s right to choose.” (Related: Condoleeza Rice smacks race-baiter Kamala Harris at Kavanaugh hearing: ‘He will be outstanding.’)
Catholics and other pro-life supporters would finish that phrase thusly: “Women’s right to choose …to kill her unborn baby.”
Will Harris represent all Americans as president or just those who share her views?
Buescher said he planned to abide by the Code of Conduct for U.S. Judges regarding his affiliations with outside organizations. He also said that his participation in the KofC has largely focused on “charitable and community events in local Catholic parishes,” the Times reported.
“I do not recall if I was aware whether the Knights of Columbus had taken a position on the abortion issue when I joined at the age of 18,” he told Harris.
The U.S. Constitution, by the way, forbids the application of “religious tests” for any candidate for public office. Article IV, Sect. 3 states: “The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the members of the several state legislatures, and all executive and judicial officers, both of the United States and of the several states, shall be bound by oath or affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.”
That’s pretty clear, which is why the Senate affirmed without dissent a resolution from Ben Sasse (R-Neb.) affirming the Constitution’s religious test prohibition.
The line of questioning, understandably, drew criticism from Catholics and other religious freedom advocates who accused them of violating the Constitution with their “litmus test.”
“Sens. Harris and Hirono are playing a game: They are engaged in selective religious profiling and sexism,” said Catholic League President Bill Donohue.
“This isn’t just about the Knights of Columbus or Catholics,” said Penny Nance, president of Concerned Women for America, “this is an ongoing attack from the extreme Left of the Democratic Party to silence people of faith and run them out of engaging in public service based on their religious beliefs.
“It is pure and simple religious bigotry,” she added, the Times reported.
If Harris were to win her party’s nomination, she should be reminded about her questioning of Buescher over his KofC connection during the debates and asked if she planned on representing all Americans as president or just those who share her far-Left political, cultural, and social views.
