When Bram Stoker first laid eyes upon Bran Castle in Transylvania, he probably didn’t envisage a vaccination center.
But now, members of the public are lining up to get their skin punctured there – and not by a vampire.
‘Dracula’s castle’ in the Carpathian Mountains has recently been re-purposed by Romanian health authorities, and now operates as a COVID-19 jab site.
Members of the public can now get free doses of the Pfizer vaccine at the historic castle.
And in a nod to the site's history, the doctors and nurses even have stickers of ‘fangs’ on their scrubs.
The Romanian government is aiming to vaccinate 10 million people by the end of summer, and it looks like Dracula can still lend a hand.
