Mohammad Furqan, 20, was taken to a private infirmary in Lucknow on June 21 after an accident on Sultanpur Road and was pronounced dead on Monday.
An ambulance took him home to Indiranagar where preparations were being made for his funeral.
But just before Mr. Furqan was buried, he started twitching and his surprised relatives rushed him to the Ram Manohar Lohia hospital in New Delhi where he was put on oxygen.
