Moscow, which is under Western pressure to distance itself from Tehran, has not followed through on proposals to supply high-grade S300 air defense missiles to the Islamic state.

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton praised Russia last month for failing to provide the arms to Iran, which is at odds with the West over its nuclear and missile program.

It seems Iran is getting nervous over threats to it's nuclear bomb program.

It also seems that Iran fears it cannot stop an Israeli attack with out the russian weapons.

Unfortunately for Iran, this gives Israel a green light to attack.

Unfortunately for Iran, it also puts much more pressure on Israel to stop Iran nuclear weapons program before they get Russian weapons.

This also has roots with US- Russian deals.....
The US cancelled plans for poland base of missile defense and Russia delays/stops sale of weapons to Iran.
