Plot Summary
一種不知和致命病毒在1996年消滅五十億人，在2035時只得1%人口生存和居於地底，一個囚犯(John Cole)不願地被義務送回1996，去收集資料關於流行病的來源(他被告知病毒被"十二猴子軍"散播)和將病毒定位，等科學家可以在它变種前研習它。
An unknown and lethal virus has wiped out five billion people in 1996. Only 1% of the population has survived by the year 2035, and is forced to live underground. A convict (James Cole) reluctantly volunteers to be sent back in time to 1996 to gather information about the origin of the epidemic (who he's told was spread by a mysterious "Army of the Twelve Monkeys") and locate the virus before it mutates so that scientists can study it.
