Sound? Glad you asked. Enjoy! I am still in shock. It has been a bit of a surreal encounter for me. I am still unsure of what is going on here.

Today I decided to have a little hike on the hills above Lam Tim / Tseung Kwan O. I needed to leave the couch and to have some outdoor time without a mask. I was really looking for some tranquil & bucolic time. I was *not* expecting the WTF moment that followed.

But today as I was closing in I started to hear some music. I thought at first, interesting maybe some elders trying to enjoy the “great outdoors”.

Then the music got really loud and down below, closer to the stream, few women dancing, near some makeshift construction from which a (cooking) fire was clearly coming out. Then after some “中国加油” I knew I was in for a WTF “treat”.

重九登高故事:
後漢時代有名的仙人費長房，有一天對他的弟子桓景說：「九月九日，你的家人將有災難，如果你帶了全家打小，人人用紅袋盛茱萸，掛在手臂上，登高飲菊花酒，便能避禍消災了。」桓景屆時果然照師傅所說，全家上山遊玩，等到傍晚回家一看，只見所有的雞，狗，牛，羊等家禽，家畜;全部死光。他這才明白，原來這些家禽家畜，作了他們全家大小的替死鬼了。
