Hong Kong protesters add more foreign flags to their arsenal, including... East Timor & Papua New Guinea
Latest mass protests in Hong Kong featured a remarkable collection of foreign flags, as activists presumably thought the US and the UK may not be the only world powers that can back them in their raging fight against Beijing.
They included fellow former British colonies Australia and India, leading EU members like Germany, Spain and Poland, and hopeful member Ukraine – as well as some nations not particularly known for their international clout, like Papua New Guinea and East Timor. UN flags were also displayed at the march.
