Seven white-shirted men filmed a Tiktok video showing support to Yuen Long Station Attack.
In the beginning, the camera focuses on the shirt of the front man, on which there are a word “Yuen Long” and a cartoon black cat wielding a feather duster. The black cat probably symbolizes the quote of Deng Xiaoping, “Whether it’s a white or black cat, as long as it catches mice, it’s a good cat.” In here, the cat implies that the patriotic “dark society (triad)” is a good cat as it catches mice (the protesters).
As the camera zooms out, the front man beats the air with his feather duster, re-enacting what happened during the attack on July 21st. Afterwards, all the men turn around to show the back of their shirts - the front man shows “Support Hongkong” and the other man show “Support Police. Love Hong Kong”. The red words on all their shirts read “中国兄弟连” (Chinese Brother Company), which is an anti-Japanese drama. In the end, the front man chants “love China” and other chants “Hongkong Add Oil”. All of them chant in Mandarin.
The background music is “Invincible” (戰無不勝) by Jordon Chan (陳小春). The song is a score for the famous gang movie “Young and Dangerous” (古惑仔).
