Iran's police chief has accused the BBC of being an arm of MI6 and warned of severe repercussions for journalists and activists caught having contacts with them, according to reports in Iran media.
伊朗警方官員指責BBC是軍情六處的膀臂和警告記者的嚴重反響，和活躍份子與他們接觸被擒，根據伊朗媒體的報導。
General Ismail Ahmadi Moghaddam, whose police forces have played a key role in the government crackdown on protesters since Iran's disputed presidential election, was quoted by the official IRNA news agency as saying opposition activists have cooperated with the BBC and the Voice of America "with the aim of weakening and overthrowing the (ruling) system."
伊斯梅爾當天蒙哈達將軍的警察部隊，自伊朗的爭議性總統選舉，在政府鎮壓示威者上發揮了關鍵作用，引述伊朗官方通訊社說，反對派活躍分子已與 BBC合作，和美國之音“有削弱和推翻（統治）體系的目的。“
"The BBC is the arm of MI6 and VOA belongs to the CIA" Moghaddam said, according to IRNA. "Those who cooperate with foreign services through transmitting photos, reports, news and anti-revolutionary actions ... should know that all their actions are monitored."
“英國廣播公司是 MI6的膀臂和美國之音屬於CIA，”蒙哈達說，根據伊朗通訊社。 “那些通過傳輸照片、報告、新聞和反革命行動與外國服務合作的 ...應該知道他們的所有行動都被進行監測。”
"We will settle accounts with them when the time comes," Mr Moghaddam warned.

Tehran has repeatedly accused Britain and the U.S of fueling the country's post- election unrest in a bid to oust the Iran's clerical rulers. It also frequently accuses its opponents of being in league with the country's enemies

In its continued efforts to suprress dissent, it has arrested hundreds of activistsrecently, executed two dissidents and sentenced ten others to death. It has also jammed the BBC and other Persian-language television channels beamed into Iran from abroad and made sending e-mails or text messages to organise anti-government demonstrations a criminal offence.

Last month, an unnamed Iranian Intelligence Ministry official banned Iranians from having any contact with 60 foreign news organizations, Iranian opposition Web sites, human rights groups and nongovernment organizations.

He accused the VOA and BBC of provoking the street riots that erupted after last year's elections, won over-whelming by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

Mr Moghaddam also vowed to crush possible opposition protests during celebrations for the Persian New Year next month.

Iranians regard the holiday as a chance to purify the soul for the new year, or Nowruz, which begins on March 21. Opposition supporters say they may hold street protests to coincide with the event.

Iran's opposition used a religious holiday in late December to rally its supporters, holding massive demonstrations in the streets of Tehran. On that day, at least eight people were killed in clashes between security forces and demonstrators in the worst bloodshed since the height of the unrest last summer.

人民網2月21日電 伊朗政府指出，“美國之音”和英國廣播公司（BBC）是情報機構，總有一天要和那些與外國媒體合作反對國家的人算總賬。

　　伊朗官方通訊社今天報道說，伊朗警方指出， 一些西方媒體如BBC和“美國之音”實際是他們國家情報機構的一部分，將嚴懲伊朗國內與BBC和“美國之音”有聯系的記者和活動分子。報道引用伊朗警察部隊司令伊斯梅爾的話說，“BBC是英國執行海外間諜任務的軍情六處的下屬機構，‘美國之音’隸屬於美國中央情報局。將對那些與外國媒體進行合作，向它們提供照片、報告、消息和反對革命活動情況的人進行跟蹤監測，因為他們的目的是試圖弱化和推翻伊朗現政權，時間一到，就將對這些人算總賬。”

　　據報道，去年6月伊朗總統大選后，因反對派不滿大選結果舉行了聲勢浩大的抗議示威游行，伊朗多次指責美國和英國利用伊朗局勢制造騷亂，譴責BBC和“美國之音”進行反伊朗宣傳，煽動反對派行動起來推翻伊朗政治體制，數百名反政府分子被逮捕。

　　伊斯梅爾強調，下個月將迎來伊朗新年，如果有人在這期間制造動亂，將堅決進行打擊。有報道說，伊朗新年類似中國的春節，節日從伊朗歷1月1日（相當於公歷3月21日）持續到13日，伊朗反對派已經做好了准備，要在伊朗新年期間舉行抗議活動。（安國章）
