The "Phoenix" was just one of the dramatic "pictorial" crop formations which appeared in the fields of England last summer--and to our surprise the plant samples taken from it (and several of the other equally astounding formations) showed clear evidence of exposure to a plasma discharge: stunted and poorly-developed seed-heads, massive apical node elongation, expulsion cavities and--in several cases--node bending which could not be attributed to phototropism/gravitropism.

Many of the 2009 UK formation plants contained these changes--some to extreme degrees--while others did not. We were quite surprised to see that some of the formations we thought most likely to have been mechanically flattened were, apparently, not. In this sample set from the Phoenix, taken 25 days after the formation occurred, growth and development failure is seen in the seed-heads, as well as considerable apical (top node beneath the seed-head) node elongation. And expulsion cavities (holes blown out due to steam build-up) were found in many of the 2nd & 3rd nodes beneath the seed-heads.

These are all well-documented indications that the crop circle plants internal moisture had been briefly and intensely exposed to microwaves, which both impairs growth and development of the seed-heads and also instantly turns the internal moisture in the plant stems to steam--thus causing increased pressure which stretches the more elastic fibers of the apical nodes and blows actual holes in the tougher lower nodes as it escapes. Mechanical flattening of plants (pranks with planks) does not produce these abnormalities.

據英國《每日電訊報》報道最近英國又出現了一個鳳凰涅磐狀的麥田怪圈。麥田怪圈專家認為這個最新的麥田怪圈可能和瑪雅預言不謀而合。

這個長約120米的麥田怪圈是在威爾特郡德維澤斯附近的亞特斯伯裏麥田裏發現的，呈現了帶有神話色彩的鳳凰涅磐圖像。麥田怪圈專家卡倫-亞歷山大(Karen Alexander)說，“鳳凰是富有神話色彩的，在許多國家都代表了重生和新時代的到來。許多研究麥田怪圈現象的人都認為麥田怪圈指向了2012年12月21日及其以後，這可以被解釋為人類或地球經過里程碑事件後重生。近期出現的麥田怪圈圖案越來越精緻。”
