Bundesbank: Rejects Notion of Using Its Gold Reserves For EMF

FRANKFURT (MNI) - The gold reserves of Germany's central bank are not available for financing a European Monetary Fund and official plans to the contrary are unknown, the Bundesbank said Sunday in a statement.
法蘭克福（MNI） - 德國中央銀行的黃金儲備，不能用於資助歐洲貨幣基金和相反的官方計劃尚未知道，德央行在週日的一份聲明表示。
"The Bundesbank at the present moment is not aware of such plans of the Federal Government or the EU," said the statement, issued in response to a report by German newsweekly Focus that such a proposal is under consideration.
“德國央行在目前一刻尚不知道聯邦政府或歐盟的計劃，”聲明說，發出以回應一份德國新聞周刊'焦點'的報導，這樣的建議正在考慮之中。
The statement continued: "Should the plans be confirmed, they would meet with the determined resistance of the Bundesbank. The board of the Bundesbank decides on the use of the gold reserves completely autonomously. Neither the Federal Government nor the European Central Bank have a right of access to the national gold reserves."
