俄羅斯總理普京說，俄羅斯同委內瑞拉達成了價值約50億美元的武器銷售協議。
普京在委內瑞拉同查韋斯總統會談後返回莫斯科並向俄羅斯軍火工業老闆們通報了這一消息。
普京沒有具體說委內瑞拉究竟要購買什麼武器裝備，但防務分析人士說委內瑞拉表示過有意購買數十輛作戰用坦克以及裝甲車和幾艘潛艇。
在過去四年中，委內瑞拉從俄國進口了估計價值40億美元的軍火，包括戰鬥機和直升機。
華盛頓指責這些軍火交易將破壞拉丁美洲的力量平衡。

俄羅斯總理普京在加拉加斯與委內瑞拉總統查韋斯簽署了一系列雙邊協議，推動兩國在能源、軍事和貿易等方面的合作。
雙方簽署的協議包括成立合資公司，在奧裏諾科重油帶胡寧六號區塊開發石油，目標是日產原油45萬桶。
普京為奧裏諾科重油帶的石油勘探出資，並同意給委內瑞拉提供20多億美元貸款，用於委內瑞拉購買俄製軍火。
BBC駐委內瑞拉記者說，查韋斯向華盛頓發出的信息是明確的，即委內瑞拉政府亦有一位在能源、軍備和國際關係方面有著共識的強大朋友。

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez have inked a number of deals to enhance Venezuela's oil production and jolt the country's economy during Putin's state visit to Caracas.
Venezuelan energy companies are set to work along a Russian consortium in developing the country's vast Orinoco oil reserve, Russian energy sector officials said Friday.
Russia has also agreed to assist Venezuela with an economic stimulus.
"Our Finance Ministry have considered Venezuela's request for a $2.2-billion loan...and I informed the Venezuelan president today that Russia is ready to give this loan [to Venezuela]," RIA Novosti quoted Putin as saying at a joint news press conference with Venezuelan leader on Friday.
Venezuela also received four Russian MI-17 helicopters as the first batch of the country's 2006 order for 38 double-purpose helicopters.
Meanwhile, Chavez announced plans for the construction of a nuclear plant with Russia's help and noted, "We are prepared to begin drawing up the first project for a nuclear power generator, obviously for peaceful purposes... We aren't going to make an atomic bomb."
He also spoke of plans for space cooperation with Russia and said, "Russia offers help so that Venezuela can have its own industry for the use of outer space."
"We could install a satellite launcher here and a factory. We are already doing so with China, but Russia is offering to support Venezuela build its own [space] industry," he added.
Chavez dubbed Putin's visit an "important day for the country and for Latin America" and stated that the two counties were "forging [bonds], like steel, a new multi-polar world."
Reports indicate that Caracas seeks to buy at least one multi-purpose Be-200 amphibious aircraft, 92 T-72 tanks and an unspecified number of Smerch multiple rocket launchers from Moscow, among other military equipment.

俄羅斯總理普京２日訪問委內瑞拉，並與委內瑞拉總統查韋斯共同簽署了３１項雙邊合作協議，旨在推動兩國間能源、核能、航天、軍事、貿易等多領域的合作。
這是普京首次訪問委內瑞拉。查韋斯親自去機場迎接並為普京舉行了隆重的歡迎儀式。普京在與查韋斯會談后，雙方共同主持了雙邊合作協議的簽字儀式。查韋斯說：“我們共簽署了３１項極其重要的協議。普京這次訪問對雙邊關系是一次新的推動。”普京說，這次會面的成果將使俄委兩國人民獲益，直接促進兩國的發展。
雙方簽署的協議中包括成立合資公司，在奧裡諾科重油帶胡寧６號區塊開發石油，目標是日產原油４５萬桶，還包括建立配套的重油輕質化設施等內容。
查韋斯還表示，委內瑞拉希望與俄羅斯共同開發和平利用核能項目。他說，“我們討論了這個話題，我們准備開始合作開發第一個核電廠項目”。
此外，雙方簽署的協議中，還包括俄幫助委發展航天工業、俄在委建立汽車工廠、委購買俄拉達汽車和飛機、合作建設火電廠以緩解委內瑞拉的電力危機、俄繼續向委出售武器等內容。
普京當天還與玻利維亞總統莫拉萊斯在加拉加斯舉行了會談，隨后結束訪問啟程回國。（記者張笑然）
