In all probability, American troops are soon to be blessed with superheroes and that’s a direct quote from the DARPA.

Reportedly the defense agency’s research and development team are putting their brains together to carve out superheroes which they feel shall elevate the efficiency level of the troops. This time they have decided to lay their hands on “quantum machines” to fulfill their aim. Not only that the project titles are inspiring-Batman and Robin.

So is DARPA aiming to create superheroes called Batman and Robin? Not really. Here’s what the agency is looking forward to achieve in a few years. They have chosen to name their project after the iconic comic hero and his sidekick which they think stands true to the purpose of their project which deals with quantum principles and human interactions. BATMAN stands for “Biochronicity and Temporal Mechanisms Arising in Nature” which is said to offer a deep understanding between spatial-temporal universe and other biological systems by applying high end principles of physical science. It also talks about evolutionary pressure and the physiological signal processing which functions to enhance any robust movement.

On the other hand, ROBIN stands for “Robustness of Biologically-Inspired Networks” which deals with the critical control features of advanced biological networks that works to set up unique models for all adaptable networks. Moreover it also functions to create a dynamic and biologically-inspired network of experts who shall be able to handle any crisis. The collective behavioral pattern, the counter deception, recruitment of expertise and robust model network and biology shall be also taken into consideration as integral parts of the project.
