新華網東京１２月２２日電（記者劉華）日本氣象廳２２日宣布，當地時間當天凌晨２時２０分（北京時間２２日凌晨１時２０分）許，日本小笠原群島附近海域發生裡氏７．４級地震，日本氣象廳已發布了海嘯警報。
此次地震震中地點位於東經１４３．４度、北緯２７．５度的小笠原群島海域，震源深度１０公裡。包括東京在內的日本東部及東北部地區普遍有震感。
地震發生后，日本氣象廳迅速發布了海嘯警報，稱地震造成的海嘯可能在小笠原群島造成１米高的海浪。日本氣象廳還向日本列島太平洋沿岸的多個城市發布了“海嘯提示”，稱這些地方可能出現０．５米高度海浪。
截止當天凌晨３時，尚無因這次地震造成人員傷亡和財產損失的消息。

日偏遠群島遭7.4強震襲擊

（法新社東京 22日電） 美國 地質調查所（US Geological Survey）表示：日本 南部小笠原群島（Bonin Islands）外海遭到規模7.4強烈地震襲擊，專家警告可能出現地區海嘯。
這起地震發生於當地時間凌晨3時19分，震央位於偏遠小笠原群島的父島（Chichi-shima）東方153公里，震源深度僅14公里。
目前尚未傳出傷亡與損失。
設於夏威夷的太平洋海嘯警報中心（PacificTsunami Warning Center）說，沒有出現毀滅性的大範圍海嘯風險。
不過這個中心在公報中警告：「這樣規模的地震，有時候會產生地區性海嘯，對距震央100公里內的海岸帶來毀滅性影響。」

TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE月全食: Earlier today, for the first time in 372 years, a total lunar eclipse occurred on the date of the northern winter solstice. "It was an absolutely gorgeous night for an eclipse!" says Sabin.
Sabin's photo captured not only the red light at the core of Earth's shadow caused by sunlight filtering through the stratosphere, but also the "turquoise fringe" caused by our planet's ozone layer.
